Iran is a first-year PhD student in the Neuroscience Department. She graduated from Emory University with a B.A. in Psychology and a minor in Spanish studies in 2022. Following this, Iran worked as a research specialist in Dr. Michael Borich's Neural Plasticity Research Lab at Emory where she gained foundational skills in motor learning, neural plasticity and clinical populations such as stroke. Outside of Emory, Iran enjoys working out, going to coffee shops, and spending time with her dachshund puppy Butters.
