Ben Riley

Undergraduate Research Assistant

B.S. Neuroscience & Behavioral Biology, Emory University, 2021

Ben discovered a passion for neuroscience early in his undergraduate career when a philosophy course introduced him to the fascinating intractability of the mind-body problem. Since then, Ben has been eager to delve into scientific research with the hopes of bringing to light new connections between neural phenomena and subjective experience. Ben hopes to advance research that could lead to novel therapies and diagnostic procedures which improve quality of life and broaden therapeutic opportunities for those suffering from pain of any kind. Ben hopes to follow these passions into graduate school, whether it be in pursuit of an MD or PhD.
