Olivia Hoekendijk is an undergraduate student at Emory University. In high school, her interest in healthcare was sparked by her biology and physiology courses. She has continued her scientific career at Emory, majoring in Neuroscience and Behavioral Biology. She has worked in a hospital setting, volunteering in the physical therapy department at San Francisco General Hospital and is excited to begin pursuing research here at Emory. Outside of the classroom, Olivia runs on the varsity track team and enjoys playing the drums.
