Mia has been passionate about healthcare and biomedical research since she was young. Throughout her collegiate career she gained research experience working in the field of Microbiology and Immunology both at the University of Chile, Santiago for three months and the University of Michigan for three years as a Research Assistant. She recently received bachelor's degrees in both Biomedical focused Anthropology and Biopsychology, Cognition & Neuroscience from the University of Michigan. Her goal is to attend a neuroscience PhD program after gaining more research experience and learning more neuroimaging techniques in the lab.
