Laura has always been fascinated by the field of biology, first gaining experience in biological research while in high school. Her interest shifted to medicine and healthcare shortly after starting her bachelor’s degree in Biology at University of Michigan. While completing her bachelor’s degree, Laura worked in chronic pain research at Evanston Hospital in her home state of Illinois, and at the Chronic Pain and Fatigue Research Center at University of Michigan. She completed her M.P.H in Global Health at Rollins School of Public Health at Emory University in May 2020.
